Five Items You Didn’t Know You Could Donate To ReStore

Doing some fall cleaning? Remodeling your home? Have excess inventory at your business? You might have what ReStore needs!

We’re looking for donations of new or gently used home improvement items. Your donations are tax-deductible and will help us build home for families in need throughout our community. Plus, we can pick up your donations for you! Read on to discover five items you might have lying around that you might not know could be donated to ReStore.

1. Appliances
Yep, we’ll take everything—including the kitchen sink! We accept appliances that are in good working condition, including refrigerators, washers and dryers, ranges and more.

2. Cabinets
If you’re tearing out old cabinets, don’t throw them out! Donate them to ReStore. We accept a full selection of cabinets (just as long as they’re up-to-date and undamaged)!

3. Windows
Replacing your windows before winter hits? As long as they’re in good condition with no broken glass, we’ll take them off your hands!

4. Lumber
That pile of spare lumber taking up space in your garage could go to somebody who needs it! We accept lumber that’s clean and at least 4 feet long with no cracks, splits or nails.

5. Hardware and tools
If you’re cleaning out your toolbox, we can take a lot of what you don’t need:

• Nails
• Nuts
• Bolts
• Screws
• Cabinet pulls
• Locks
• Knobs
• Hinges
• Hand and garden tools
• Working power tools
